5Dculture @ Ferrara: Conference on 3D Digitisation (10.04.2024)

Taking the opportunity of having the various project team members on site in Ferrara, the team of Inception and FBK organised a workshop for students and staff of the University of Ferrara, more specifically tailored to the Department of Architecture, to introduce the project and its achievements in connection with 3D digitisation, modelling, visualisation, etc. in connection with architecture, urban planning and archaeology.

Co-organised by the 4CH project the conference "3D Digitisation for Architecture, Urban Heritage, Landscape and Archaeology" featured the following presentations:
  • The European Framework of Digital Heritage, Marco Medici (Inception)
  • The Common European Data Space for Cultural Heritage and the Twin it! campaign, Valentine Charles (Europeana)
  • Introduction to the 5Dculture Project, Alexandru Stan (IN2)
  • Latest Advancement on 3D Data Modeling and Enrichment for Digital Heritage, Fabio Remondino (FBK)
  • Developing Enhanced and Enriched 3D Models for Digital! Archaeologry and Landscape Reconstruction, Anthony Corns & Robert Shaw (The Discovery Programme)
  • Integrating Historical Data with Modern Technology for Cityscapes Reconstriuction, Sander Münster (Univeristy of Jena/TMO)
